Petar Krstich Choir went Christmas caroling today after Divine Liturgy in Steubenville, Hopedale and Weirton visiting our parishioners in nursing homes. We went to 4 facilities and each of the 6 people we sang to were extremely happy to see us. There were tears of joy on their part and on our part humbling tears. These wonderful people did so much for our church and choir when they were able to and to see them in the twilight of their life and not able to do for themselves is sad. Two former choir members tried to sing with us Dorothy Milosh and Mimi Ostovich. Natalie Polovina and her sister Lillian Visnic are roommates and happy to be together. Jean Saho did not mind us interrupting the cooking show she was watching. Seka Divich was sitting having a cup of coffee almost like she was waiting for us to come and sing. We hope that our visit to all of them may have brighten their holiday season. Mir Bozhi!
